Beachfront villas at the edge of the Aegean.

Inquire for a Stay

A place to arrive,
and truly rest

Greek Seaside Villas was born from a simple belief: that some places on Earth hold a stillness that cannot be hurried. Samothrace is one of them. Tucked into the northeast Aegean, raw and unhurried, this island has drawn seekers for millennia. We built our small collection of beachfront villas to honour that quality — offering not entertainment, but space. Space to breathe, to listen to the water, to remember yourself.

Each villa sits at the edge of the sea. Each morning is yours.

Samothrace

One of Greece's least-touched islands, Samothrace rises dramatically from the Aegean — its ancient peak, Mount Fengari, visible from Troy according to Homer. It is a place of waterfalls and cold mountain streams, of ancient mystery cults and dense forests that tumble down to deserted coves.

There are no airports. No cruise ships. No mass tourism. What remains is rare: a Greek island that still belongs to itself. And, for a short while, to you.

1,611 m Mount Fengari — highest peak in the Aegean
2,800+ Years of continuous human history
~3,000 Permanent residents — a true retreat

Slow Days, Well Spent

Mountain Hikes

Trails through ancient forest and wildflower meadows, up toward the summit where Homer's gods once stood and watched.

Natural Waterfalls

The Fonias river leads to cool, crystal pools beneath a waterfall — one of the most beautiful walks in Greece.

Ancient Sanctuary

The Sanctuary of the Great Gods — a sacred site of mystery initiations, older than the Parthenon, set in a quiet valley.

Local Tavernas

Simple tables, fresh fish, cold wine, and conversation. The island's tavernas keep the same hours they always have.
